ByouDiva started with something very personal: my own skin journey.
While studying dentistry in the Dominican Republic, I struggled with acne, dry skin, and the challenges that come with not always feeling confident in your own skin. I started learning more about skincare and looking for ways to better care for myself.
A year later, I moved to the United States, but I didn’t leave my dream behind.
I decided to start ByouDiva again — this time with a bigger purpose.
I wanted to create products for Black skin and for everyone who struggles with acne, dryness, uneven-looking skin, and other everyday skin concerns. I wanted people to have products that make them feel cared for, confident, and beautiful in their own skin.
Today, ByouDiva products are made from scratch in our small factory, where we carefully create our products in small batches. We choose ingredients that fit our philosophy of simple, thoughtful skincare and body care.
What started as my personal struggle became a dream, and that dream became a brand.
I’m still building.
I’m still learning.
I’m still creating.
But every product carries a piece of the journey that started with one woman who simply wanted to find a better way to care for her skin.
This is more than a beauty brand.
